The New Citizen Kane
I Don’t Need To Say / Eyes Wide Shut

London-based artist Kane Luke, also known as The New Citizen Kane, is setting the stage for his upcoming album Psychedelika Pt. 1 with the release of two new singles, I Don’t Need To Say and Eyes Wide Shut, arriving back-to-back on October 10 and October 24. The full album follows on November 28 via Citizen Records.

Where his previous record 'The Tales of Morpheus' captured the rush of new love in fan favourite 'Forget The World', 'I Don’t Need To Say' definitely feels like a continuation of that with a reflection on what comes after the fireworks fade.

Eyes Wide Shut turns to the other side of the emotional spectrum. Darker, heavier, and hypnotic, it digs into the disorienting pull of attraction that defies reason. Kane captures the tension of knowing something is wrong yet being unable to walk away, that fragile space between longing and self-deception. The song plays like a fever dream, steeped in desire, illusion, and the quiet ache of denial.

Together, these tracks expand the world of Psychedelika Pt. 1  a record that promises to wander through love, anxiety, desire, resilience, and all the blurred edges in between. The album will be available November 28 on Kane’s own Citizen Records, with limited edition CD and double 12” coloured vinyl versions available to pre-order now through his official store, alongside the new Psychedelika collection.

With these latest releases, Kane Luke continues to shape his own sonic universe, honest, layered, and unafraid to linger in the beautiful mess of being human.
