Sometimes when two worlds collide and two musical minds meet, great things happen. That is certainly the case here, with the release of Graceland, the brand new single from William Kalmer and Audrey Karrasch. The single has brought together William's flair for writing great lyrics and creating the ideas for harmonies, as well as Audrey's experiences from, among other things, her participation in The Voice USA, in a collaboration that feels like it was meant to be.

With both being heavily involved in the songwriting, the pair developed their sound with Audrey's emotional clarity adding a warmth and playfulness to the song. While the core idea and the emotional identity of Graceland had its roots laid down by William and Audrey, they enlisted the help of South African film composer Edward George King, who took the track and transformed it into an intimate felt piano arrangement that enhances the track's emotional identity and goes hand in hand with Audrey's vocal style. And in their own words, "Without his artistry, the song simply would not exist as it does."​

If you are looking for a summer anthem, then this could be a contender. With a slow build into a triumphant chorus that fills the air with sound and movement that is incredibly infectious. It isn't full on and in your face, at times the energy and power come from what you don't hear. Audrey's vocals are very controlled, and that restraint is in actual fact incredibly powerful.
