New York-based singer and songwriter ALESSA XO has released her new single 'Jupiter', a slow and immersive track that drifts between reflection and release.
Jupiter was written during the pandemic, a period that gave Alessa space to stop, think, and translate the isolation felt by many of us at that time, into sound. The entire track is filled with layers of airy synths, soft percussion, and quiet vocals creating an atmospheric space that feels so inviting and familiar.
The track is accompanied by a stunning video that was filmed in her hometown of Klagenfurt, Austria where Alessa went back to her roots, using venues that once supported her earliest performances. Its those familiar surroundings add a very personal aspect to the story.
