Allan Jamisen has released a new single titled “The Coalition.” The track is very relevant in the current climate with the main focus on politics and the links between military power, business interests and political decision making, Allan explores how those relationships shape modern conflict.
Jamiesen has a background in the arts and currently works within the world of music and visual arts. He describe the track as a form of social commentary. He doesn't shy away from dealing with the subject head on, discussing how wars can be presented in an ambiguous way while been driven by wider institutional interests. The repetitive use of the line "It's better than before" reflects how this kind of language can be used to justify violence.

Combining trip hop rhythms with industrial elements as well as more restrained jazz influences, Allan's distinctive style shines through.
