Allan Jamisen’s path through music and art hasn’t followed a straight line—and that’s probably what makes it so interesting. One minute he’s fronting a band on the L.A. club scene, the next he’s hanging paintings in galleries across the U.S. and Europe. He’s always been about chasing the spark, wherever it leads. Living the Dream is the result of that kind of pursuit. It’s not just a new track—it’s a snapshot of everything he’s learned and lived through.

The record was made with the help of John X Volaitis, a veteran producer known for working with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Black Grape to name just a few. But this track isn’t about flashy credits. It’s got a feel to it, something a bit raw around the edges, personal, like someone letting you in on something they've carried for a long time.  Living the Dream doesn’t try too hard. It is cleverly composed, but unpretentious. 

You get the sense listening to it that Allan isn’t trying to make a point or follow a trend. He’s just being honest. Maybe that’s the real hook here. Living the Dream doesn’t ask for attention—it earns it, with each listen. And by the end of the song, you’re not just hearing music. You’re getting to know the man behind it.
