Ani Even
SKINWALKER
Ani Even, the electronic project of Danish-Faroese-Greenlandic artist Bror, has released his debut album SKINWALKER on October 31st. The 11 tracks on the album explore varied themes from identity and change to personal experiences. Bror worked with a varied mix of instruments and techniques from electronic sounds, piano, percussion, and vocal layering to bring the songs to life.
SKINWALKER keeps things interesting moving between intense beats, chants, and quieter more reflective sections. The lyrics cover a range of personal topics including fatherhood, addiction, self-acceptance and climate anxiety. Bror goes all in on this album, recording in multiple languages, including Danish, English, and Nordic dialects, reflecting the different sides of his experience and identity.

The album title comes from the idea of transformation and holding multiple truths at once. For Bror, it became a way to explore different parts of himself. Looking at masculinity, queerness, responsibility, and vulnerability, without limiting any single expression.
The release was accompanied by a live performance at Brønshøj Vandtårn in Copenhagen. The venue is a water tower repurposed for live music, chosen for its acoustics and scale rather than theatrics. Bror himself describing the performance as a way to present the album directly, without distraction by letting the sounds and voices carry the experience.
SKINWALKER is available on all streaming platforms. Ani Even continues to develop his work at the intersection of electronic experimentation and personal storytelling. For updates on upcoming shows and new material, listeners can follow Ani Even on Spotify, Instagram, and YouTube.
