BB.GREEN
releases second single
"just like an angel"

Manchester singer-songwriter BB. Green has recently released his second single as a solo artist, after establishing a 15-year career as a drummer with bands across the world.
Singer-songwriter BB.Green, born and raised in the suburbs or Manchester, is releasing his second single, 'Just Like An Angel', after making the decision to pursue a career as a solo artist during lockdown.
The 31-year-old was inspired to begin his journey in music after watching John Bonham perform 'Moby Dick' at the Royal Albert Hall on television when he was 13.
As a drummer, he has toured with Bez from The Mondays, and was a member of Manchester band The Marivaux, supporting artists including The Futureheads and Bluetones frontman Mark Morriss. He has performed shows across the UK, mainland Europe, Cyprus and Israel.
BB, otherwise known as Ben Peacock, has already started to forge a solo career with a well-received first release, and is continuing to write and record new music. He hopes to enlighten and inspire listeners, while also bringing people together again to enjoy it all in a live setting.
His new single, 'Just Like an Angel', is out now, and available to download and stream on all mainstream music channels.
This follows his debut single 'Blink of An Eye', which was released in August and was written very shortly after the breakdown of his seven-year relationship, when although the right decision to end things still seemed right, the fond memories and the space she held were still very fresh.
Ben said: "I'm really excited to be releasing 'Just Like An Angel', the follow up to my debut single. In comparison to my bittersweet debut, I think the positivity of this one really shines through. It's a song about the unconditional love I had for someone very close to me at the time, but I think everyone who hears it can easily relate.
"My goal to fulfil a longstanding dream to write and release my own music began in August with 'Blink of An Eye', and I aim to keep up this momentum with my latest single. I have honestly been blown away by the response and support I have received so far and hopefully this is just the start.
He added: "What started as a project in lockdown has grown into something that I'm really proud of, and I'm looking forward to sharing this bright, uplifting track with everyone. I hope it enlightens and inspires those who listen, as well as bringing people together to listen live. After the past 18 months we've had I think we all deserve a little light in our lives!"
