COOR BROW-OBLES
In Moonlight

Picture
Coor Brow-Obles is a South-Eastern UK artist whose music sits somewhere between post-punk, dream pop and gothic rock. As a truly independent artist Coor writes, records and produces his own songs, often layering guitars, synths and percussion into something that feels unique and inviting.

Being raised in a military family meant that Coor moved around often, and that sense of movement is often reflected through his work. With the sound shifting between restraint and intensity, giving each song a quiet edge. His influences are easy to trace with artists like Bowie, Siouxsie and The Cure at the core of his influences but what he creates from them is his own experiences with a real flare for songwriting.

Coor also directs and produces his own videos as well as his music, building a visual world that mirrors the tone of his songs. He has performed at Whitby Gothic Festival and continues to expand his catalogue through a crowdfunded project, Missi_g, a collection that brings together the darker and more vulnerable sides of his writing.

His latest release has combined both his passion for music and video. In Moonlight is dark and eerie, with an atmosphere that is reflected in the accompanying video. Coor created a gothic nightscape that with clever lighting he invites you in to a world that is haunting but matches the music perfectly. He even got a theremin in on the action to help create that eerie sound.

Video aside, the track is very addictive, you will no doubt find your self singing along with the hook as it is almost impossible to resist it. You can check out the new single right now so be sure to give it a spin.
