DELETER
Anaconda Walkway
Back in 2024 fate saw the coming together of four like-minded music lovers, thanks to the wonders of the worldwide web. Now almost 2 years later, Manchester post-punk band Deleter have just dropped their explosive new single, Anaconda Walkway.
The track, which was recorded at The Warren Recording Studio in Sheffield, is a rich soundscape with its roots deeply planted in the post punk genre however, the band's creativity has seen them mix it up with as they say themselves "a blend of dark, groovy rhythms and emotive lyrics". That definitely gives Anaconda Walkway something a little extra that helps it stand out from the crowd.

Produced by Stephen Harrison, the track is a right mind bender, they definitely keep things interesting sonically. James' vocals are loaded with a raw, effortless energy that he has complete control over even when he is almost screaming down the mic. You just get into a comfortable swing of things then James wakes you up with a voice that goes from 0-100 in a split second. Cracking stuff!
Deleter have been active on the Manchester circuit, recently headlining Off The Square and planning further local dates. Anaconda Walkway continues their run of direct, tightly constructed releases without moving away from their core approach. If you are looking for your new favourite band for 2026 then you might have just found them.
