Discover Shelia Moore-Piper's single, Show Love

Shelia Moore-Piper's single 'Show Love' hit the ground running back in October last year and hasn't stopped spreading the love since. It is a song that has brought together elements of R&B, gospel and jazz and looks at themes of encouragement, faith and connection.

The single is taken from Shelia's upcoming album The Love/Soul Session Vol. 2 and continues with the distinctive sound that Shelia has developed over her previous releases. With live drums, bass, horns and layered backing vocals all coming together to give 'Show Love' a rich warmth that is incredibly inviting.

The track was produced by longtime collaborator and husband Glenn Piper who did a great job of ensuring that the arrangement didn't become overcomplicated. Shelia's vocals are very much central in the mix and her delivery has a directness and calmness that really fits with the track. The hard work has definitely paid off as the single had chart recognition hitting the number 3 spot on the urban influencer  R&B & Soul Chart, a great achievement.
 
Having spent years building an impressive catalogue through independent releases via Bdm/Ugroove Music, a label that she launched with Glenn back in 2004, this record adds to an already body of work from a singer and performer who loves nothing more than spreading the love through her uplifting music.
