EDDIE COHN
Get Back My Way
Los Angeles-based musician Eddie Cohn returns with Get Back My Way, a new single that was released on September 26th , 2025. It’s a song that definitely feels like it was written by someone who has lived a life and a half, having been written, recorded, and shaped by years of creative persistence and quiet evolution.
Eddie took charge of every part of the process, from songwriting and production to vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, and percussion. He brought in long-time collaborators Brett Farkas on electric guitar, Dan Lutz on bass, Phil Peterson on cello, and Jake Reed on drums. Using remote sessions, each musician recorded their own parts in their own space, linking together Los Angeles, Seattle and Hawaii.

After a spell spent working in real estate and taking time to reassess his creative direction, Eddie found himself drawn back to more stripped back songwriting, Get Back My Way captures that return. This release is a reminder to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what feels real. As Cohn continues his shift towards a more organic sound, this track feels like a leap in the right direction.
For Cohn, the release marks not just another single, but a moment of balance between discipline and freedom, work and creativity, noise and stillness.
Get Back My Way is available now on all streaming platforms.
