Ferdinand Rennie
A Wing and a Prayer

Picture
There’s a quiet conviction running through Ferdinand Rennie’s latest single A Wing and a Prayer. It’s all about the voice, about presence and holding a moment long enough for it to land somewhere real.

Born in Austria, now based on the west coast of Scotland, Rennie has spent years moving through stages, studios, and screens. From leading roles in Les Misérables and Jesus Christ Superstar to national TV appearances, his voice has never really stood still. And yet this release feels particularly still, not in energy, but in intention. It doesn’t push too hard to get noticed. It just shows up and lets the track speak for itself.
Picture
Written in collaboration with Andrew Littlewood, and shaped with producer Alan Vukelic and musician Dan Healey, A Wing and a Prayer leans into space. It doesn’t try to be more than it is, a ballad with heart, sung with everything left on the table. The production is clean but not polished to the point of sterility. The emotion comes through not in overdone delivery but in restraint.

This isn’t a debut. It’s a continuation. One more string to his bow in a long, and varied career showcasing Ferdinand Rennie's flexibility and talent that has taken him so far and will no doubt continue to give his everything to his art, and long may that continue.

Powerful, uplifting and motivating, A Wing and a Prayer is available to listen to now on all major platforms.
