Honest Man
Fountain
Northampton duo Fountain have just released their brand new single Honest Man, which dropped on 29th of September, ahead of their forthcoming EP Big Bag Of New Nothings, due 13th January.
Honest Man is a track that will no doubt have your toes tapping from the get go. With it's bluesy riffs and raw energy, it is a track that really captures the pair's evolving sound. Lyrically focussed, with a real sense of intent, Fountain don't hold back, exploring themes including truth, doubt and the never ending search for purpose. It is something that I am sure most of us can identify with on some level.

Ally Wilkinson and Jordan Noon formed Fountain after years of playing together in different projects, eventually deciding that the duo format gave them the freedom they’d been looking for. Ally and Jordan's partnership is one that thrives on contrast and that really shows in this single. Clarity meets chaos, control meets impulse and that tension sits right at the heart of their sound giving it an edgy uncertainty that keeps you coming back for more.
The release marks the start of a new chapter for Fountain, one that leans into atmosphere, weight, and emotional honesty. The band will play London’s Troubadour on 21st October, bringing their new material to the stage for the first time.
