Good Charlotte
Release New Album Motel Du Cap
VIA ATLANTIC RECORDS
Good Charlotte have officially returned with their long-awaited eighth studio album, Motel Du Cap, out today via Atlantic Records. Seven years on from their last release, Generation Rx, the band are back with a collection that blends the raw energy of their early years with a more reflective, personal edge.
The record features recent singles Rejects and Stepper, both of which have already been embraced by fans. Rejects came charging out of the gate last month, topping the Alt radio adds chart in its first week. Its follow-up, Stepper, landed with a striking music video directed by Erik Rojas, where the Madden brothers take on the unlikely role of motel maintenance managers, crossing paths with a cast of eclectic guests.

Much of the inspiration for Motel Du Cap can be traced back to an intimate performance the band played at the historic Hotel du Cap in France last year. It was a no-pressure, friends-only event that reminded Benji and Joel Madden of the joy and freedom that first brought them together as a band. That sense of connection runs throughout the album, giving it both a nostalgic warmth and a fresh sense of purpose.
With Paul Thomas and Billy Martin back alongside the Madden brothers, Motel Du Cap captures the chemistry that defined Good Charlotte’s earliest work while exploring new territory. It’s an album made for long-time fans and newcomers alike a reminder of why Good Charlotte’s voice still matters in 2025.
Motel Du Cap is available now on all major streaming platforms and in physical formats.
