HARRY ELEY
Me
Guildford songwriter Harry Eley steps into new territory with the release of his debut EP Me, out today, October 24, 2025. Harry captures the small collisions and quiet victories everyone has experienced when growing up and trying to stay true to who you are, even in the face of uncertainty.
'Me' follows on from Harry's success with his singles 'Happy Hate Story' and 'Thinking Of You', songs that helped to introduce him to audiences across the South of the country, who have fallen in love with his open, unfiltered style. Stretching that voice further on his current release, the lead track 'Stop The War', co-written and performed with Millie Cameron, he has already found support from BBC Introducing Sussex and Surrey. The track plays out like a conversation between two people who, despite caring deeply for one another, find themselves slipping away from that rhythm they used to have together.

From a musical perspective, it blends that classic British guitar energy with a more reflective vibe of modern indie pop. The production has a looseness to it that feels very personal, almost as if it was a live performance in many ways.
Harry has drawn inspiration from the classic sounds of bands like Oasis, John Mayer and The 1975. His natural way of writing really stands, his lyrics are straightforward and heartfelt. 'Me' feels less like a statement and more like a snapshot of a moment in time of a young artist working out who he is, one song at a time.
Harry launches the EP at The Boileroom in Guilford on 28th of October, so if you are lucky enough to be in the area check it out.
