Fumes

Andrew Horth has been keeping himself busy. Between his day job, home life in Melbourne, Derbyshire, and the push to get his songs out into the world, there’s hardly a quiet moment. His new single 'Fumes', released in October, comes straight from that chaos.

He recorded it at RatCat Studios with producer Natt Webb, known for work with The Struts and Alt Blk Era and they managed to wrap the whole thing up in just six hours. Webb threw in a few ideas along the way and earned a co-writing credit for good reason.

'Fumes' has a real punch to it, full of quick changes and sharp hooks it brings to mind bands that you might be familiar with, Biffy Clyro, Ash and maybe a twist of Sam Fender's edgy vocal delivery thrown in there for good measure. The song is the perfect toe tapper with enough restless energy to keep you moving all day.

HorthWorld started as a studio project back in 2024 but it’s grown fast. With a full band now behind him and producers like Nick Brine and Gavin Monaghan on hand to help shape the sound, Horth’s music has gone from solitary sketches to something that has real depth, a full-bodied, loud and addictive sound. Fumes fits that perfectly, tired bones, big heart, and a spark that refuses to go out.
