LIAM FENDER
MAN DOWN
Liam Fender is back with his first new release since his EP 'Love Will...', which introduced Liam to a whole new audience. That audience has grown phenomenally thanks in no small part to Liam's live performance schedule, which included Hardwick Festival and In The Park in Newcastle's Leazes Park.
A testament to the loyalty of Liam's fans and the quality of his work, Liam even managed to garner a huge audience for his very special performance with Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir on the same day as the England Euro Finals match, no mean feat. And now, Liam has released a cracking new single, 'Man Down'.

The track is an earworm for sure, and it showcases Liam's ability to write powerful lyrics that really hit hard while keeping the toes tapping. Tackling issues that come with those struggling with their mental health is something that affects everyone on some level.
The track is accompanied by an official video that features Liam being followed around by what I think is a puppet of himself, possibly representing a side of him that he just can't seem to shake. He gets more and more angry with it as the video progresses, highlighting his frustration as he tries to rid himself of the demons before finally giving up and sitting back in defeat. A great video that has really matched the music and the emotions of the lyrics. The video was directed by Sam Gannie and written by Tony Gannie.
'Man Down' really showcases Liam's stunning voice; if you loved 'Love Will' then you will really love this. Liam has kept his unique style and sound that makes his music stand out from the crowd—a real artist that definitely deserves your attention.
