MAX MARGINAL
'HOME AIN'T ON THE MAP'
Algerian artist Max Marginal has returned with his brand new instrumental single, 'Home Ain't on the Map'. Released on 8th of October, the single is a great chill out tune, with Max using his guitar skills to create an atmosphere your brain can just shut off for a few minutes and immerse your senses in the music.
Compositionally it is flows smoothly from start to finish gentle guitar tones that rise and fade out throughout the track helping which gives it a real sense of movement, something which I guess is intentional given the title of the track. From the warmth and melancholy that the guitars drift towards to the way Max draws the track to a close, it is easy to forget that the track is just over two and a half minutes long but feels like a well rounded and complete piece.
In Max's own word "the track blends emotional guitar textures with ambient tones to create a reflective, atmospheric soundscape", and that is something I can absolutely agree with. You can check out 'Home Ain't on the Map' for yourself on here.
