THE STINGRAYS
'MY EVERYTHING' EP
London based rock trio The Stingrays have just released their debut EP, My Everything. The band, formed by members of touring band Yellow Days - Hector Delicious, George Van den Broek, and Milo-G, who have performed all over the world together and has recently come back together again to release new music as The Stingrays. Recorded during The Stingrays' first ever recording session beneath Dom's Subs sandwich shop on Hackney road, East London, both tracks have benefited from that session with a uniqueness and authenticity that add to the character of the EP.
The EP is a head first dive into the intense feeling of love portrayed in music, with a swimmy, dreamlike soundscape and a glorious swirly, slightly psychedelic sound that will have you drifting off to the somewhat eccentric world of The Stingrays.

There is something incredibly enchanting about the backing vocals that complement the powerful voice of Yellow Days aka George Van den Broek. The vocal harmonies are spine-tinglingly good and take the EP to the next level. Musically, the track is very cleverly arranged and definitely keeps you wondering where the track will lead you with every twist and turn.
The bass, courtesy of Hector Delicious, is the back bone to both tracks on the EP, and layered with the creative drum-work by Milo-G is a match made in musical heaven. The initial recording session on Hackney Road, where the trio were joined by guitarist The ib, resulted in several other tracks being recorded so there are more nuggets of musical goodness coming in the future. But for now the EP, with it's timeless charm and unique sound, is available to stream right now, and I would definitely recommend giving it a spin or two.
