AXMINSTER

Rockers Axminster originally formed over forty years and have shared stages with some of the biggest names in the business, from Metallica, Extreme, Twisted Sister and Lita Ford to name just a few, this band has seen it all.

Playing their own brand of hard rock, and putting their stamp firmly on the Massachusetts music scene Axminster showcased for major record labels before calling it a day in 1986.

Having spent time away from the music scene and with various name changes and the sad passing of their drummer Mike Lamm, the band have embraced the digital age and reconnected with their fans.

Fast forward to October 2023 and the band released a four song EP called Bada Boom. A record that has been received well by the fans and music industry insiders alike. mixed by Grammy Award Winning Producer/Engineer Bob St. John who has worked with such artists as Extreme, Collective Soul, Duran Duran and Dokken to name a few. “Bada Boom!” was mastered by Adam Matza at Magic Ears Mastering who has mastered tracks for Steven Tyler, Extreme, Dweezil Zappa, Mary J. Blige and others.

In their own words "Armed with a new disc, acclimation, and a battle-scarred scrapbook, Axminster is still playing honest rock n' roll, still having fun, and they don't let yesterday chew up too much of today", a great motto to live by.
