Eruption Artistique

Sometimes beauty can come from the darkest of times and one such example of this is artistic Rock N Roll collective Eruption Artistique who have recently released their record HIHA The Acid Alpaca (with The Smackbar). The exciting collaboration of artists was formed during the Coronavirus pandemic, bringing together the powerful creative forces of The group consists of musicians (Bas and Sara), filmmakers (Jean Paul Gummo, Mike, Vinnie), photographers (Jean Paul Gummo) and actors.


With influences as varied as The Doors, Andy Warhol, Velvet Underground, The Brianjonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols, Eruption Artistique use their love of the 1960's to create stunning musical landscapes with an authentic Rock N Roll attitude.Describing their music in their own words, Eruption Artistique said "Our music is who we are, beautiful, art lovers, dark, chaotic, post modern, and with a big big big love for everything from the 1960". 

The collective's artistic background gives their music a depth and authenticity that is hard to match, creating rock n roll that is good for the soul. Giving us the best of both worlds, the creative collaboration doesn't just concentrate on the musical arts and are avid visual artists as well, creating artwork alongside their musical endeavours. This is truly a band that need to be seen as well as heard.
