Jack Agdur
Temporal singularity

Picture
Stockholm-based composer and pianist Jack Agdur has released Temporal Singularity, his most recent composition. The new piece arrives following the completion of his master’s degree in music at Stockholm University, where Agdur explored ideas of analysis and expression in his writing.

Agdur has studied musicology at Stockholm University, writing a master’s thesis on Morton Feldman’s variation techniques in the piano piece Palais de Mari. He later studied curriculum studies in music and has studied piano privately from an early age. Agdur’s work focuses on the piano, with a stated aim of “mesmerizing and making the listener float.”
Alongside composing, Agdur is active as a music educator. He continues to combine teaching with his own writing, balancing academic study, creative practice, and performance collaborations. His approach draws on both classical and contemporary influences, emphasizing subtlety, structure, and clarity in every composition.

Temporal Singularity is available now, marking the latest entry in an ongoing body of work shaped by study, collaboration, and exploration. The release is another step in Agdur’s evolving artistic path, reflecting both his technical training and a continuing interest in the ways music can shape perception and feeling.
