Chicago’s Leo XIV has returned with his sophomore single 'Feel', which lands with the kind of raw energy that suggests something’s been building under the surface for a while now. The new record follows his debut 'Midas', but there is a vibe to this track digs a little deeper than it's predecessor. 

The steady bass loop keeps things grounded allowing the synth and many vocal layers a bit of freedom to drift around a bit, it is a mix that has found the perfect balance between technical prowess and creative freedom. Leo’s talked about a long break from writing, saying “This song is particularly significant to me as it was the one that effectively ended a decade-long moratorium on creativity and confidence",  it is a stretch marked by anxiety and addiction. You don’t need to know the details to catch that raw edge in the song.

What stands out most is the sense that 'Feel' exists because of a sense of purpose, it isn't just a random creation. Leo has harnessed the negative aspects of the last few years and turned them in to something uplifting and positive.
