LESS
Instead of Making Love (Say Hello)
LESS has had a very colourful life so far, born in Naples and spending her childhood continuously moving around and, in her own words, living a "nomadic and happy childhood", and it is quite possible that the constant moving around influenced LESS's creativity. You can hear that creative streak running through her new single 'Instead of making love (Say Hello).
The track was written in collaboration with her long-time producers in Florence at the Kapow Vintage Studio. The song is relaxed and open, and there is a real sense that they were bouncing off each other's energy when writing this track. It does definitely feel like they were all on the same wavelength.

Musically, it is fresh and has a positive vibe to it that will brighten up your day for sure. LESS' vocals are at the forefront of the track and are complemented by some great guitar work that sits subtly behind the very prevalent bass that drives the whole track forward. Lyrically, LESS has filled the track with expression and emotion that is impossible to ignore and hits right where it needs to. It is a nice piece of work.
Having already made its way onto a Compigram compilation, 'Instead of making love (Say Hello)' certainly seems to be striking the right chords with music lovers, and there is also talk of festival selections across Europe. I can see this track and LESS doing great things on the live music circuits.
At twenty-two, LESS is very self-aware and is enjoying exploring who she is as an artist. From a creative perspective, that unpredictability will most definitely keep things exciting as this rising star continues to experiment and grow.
