Let Go Echo Returns with New Single "Hold Up" Ahead of 5th Studio Album

Artist: Let Go Echo
Date: 20th of June 2026

Words: David Weddle
Let Go Echo have returned to the airwaves with the single “Hold Up” off their upcoming 5th studio album Gravity scheduled for release in 2026. The track marks a different direction for the Maryland natives while maintaining high production quality and complex composition.

The single is an exciting development in the story of Let Go Echo  and is a great showcase for the great things that the collaboration between Chris Henry and new guitarist Eric Pindell have to offer. Hold Up is a gloriously melodic song with strong guitar work, hopefully indicative of where the remainder of the album is headed. The track moves in a very different direction than the other trance oriented songs off of the album, and seems to explore a new direction for the song writer and guitarist.

Hold Up was originally written for the demo project Aquatic, written back in 2022, but has been revamped from the bottom up for this lead single from their fifth studio album Gravity, which will be released next year.

For fans of the band’s previous work, Hold Up marks a transition for the single and forthcoming full length instead of a complete departure in style. The song maintains the electronic core of earlier work and provides a slightly different take on song writing within that framework, with a greater focus on melodic content.

Chris Henry, prior to Let Go Echo, was in several other bands on the Baltimore music scene. His background allows the music of Let Go Echo to span a wide musical arena. His collaborator, Eric Pindell, not only plays guitar on the project, he is also an engineer. This makes for a perfect pairing and is the reason that the music of Let Go Echo is so solid.

This new single from Let Go Echo was recorded in singer Chris Henry’s basement in Columbia, MD. The music video for Hold Up was shot at Orion Studios in Baltimore and is the perfect accompaniment the song very well.

In many ways this new single from Let Go Echo’s 5th studio album Gravity due for release in 2026 reinforces everything that the band does so successfully already, catchy melodic lines, expert production, & above all, immersive music that really opens up a space for the listener to dive right into and explore.
