LIQUEEDO
English Rose
Italian singer song writer Liqueedo also known as Arturo Molinara, has returned with a stunning new single, English Rose. Having been heavily influenced by English guitar music, Liqueedo has definitely developed a sound that is well suited to 90s indie rock / pop and that is definitely prevalent in English Rose.
The track is very guitar focussed and starts off strong with an electric guitar inviting you in to hear more. The song is an ode that special someone, and yes it has a romantic theme to it, but it isn't heavy. The melody is light and uplifting with and infectious rhythm and a comforting tone.

English Rose has the music of 1990's Britain running through it's veins, with the guitar heavy, nostalgic vibes of Stone Roses with Liqueedo's vocals that reminded me of Oasis, particularly the hook of the chorus which is very reminiscent of Liam Gallagher's style while keeping the sound very much his own.
English Rose does a great job of showcasing the writing and performance skills of Liqueedo, with a forward looking sound that manages to also capture the best of times gone by. It isn't always easy to capture the essence of an entire era in your music and still keep it sounding fresh and modern but Liqueedo has done just that which is just great to hear.
The track is available right now for you to check out for yourself
