Singer-songwriter Mick J. Clark has recently released his latest album Pole Position. The new record features ten tracks spanning rock, R&B, country and ballads, with Clark describing the album as intended for easy listening. The mix of genres reflects his wider catalogue, which has always moved between styles.

Clark is signed to Universal Records and has been active for many years as a writer and recording artist. His album Causes made it into the official 64th Grammy Nominations list, and his song “There’s Nothing Anybody Can Do” was released on the Sonorus label. His work has gathered more than one million Spotify streams to date. In 2020, his environmental track “We Know It’s True” reached No.3 in the UK and No.2 in the US on the iTunes Top 100 Rock Songs chart.
Alongside his studio releases, Clark has produced a box set collection of 60 songs plus three Christmas tracks, covering styles including pop, rock, ballads, R&B, dance, Latin and country. Fifteen of his videos have been accepted by Promo Stream, and he has appeared in the iTunes Singles Chart six times and the Album Chart once. Recent releases such as “Anuther Sunny Hulliday” and “Blow Those Candles Out” have continued to find listeners online, each passing 100,000 streams, while his Christmas EP exceeded 300,000 streams across three seasonal tracks.

With Pole Position, Clark leans into the strengths that have earned him a steady audience over the years: accessible melodies, clean hooks, and songs that are easy to live with. The mix of ballads, rock and lighter styles gives the album a broad appeal, especially for listeners who enjoy easy listening without drifting into background music territory.
