Music News MonthlyNews, Reviews and Interviews Bring Me The Horizon reveal a new single, ‘Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd bloOd’, from their critically acclaimed new album NeX Gen. The digital release of the album has now been streamed a massive 100 million times in 14 days and earned them the title of most streamed rock band on the planet on release, as well as becoming the third highest streamed album that week behind Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish. The band also announced the physical release of NeX Gen, out September 27th via RCA/SONY. ‘Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd bloOd’ is already a fan favourite; it is an intense emo-tinged anthem showcasing frontman Oli Sykes’ vocals to their melodic best. The cinematic video sees the band perform a dystopian gig to a sea of rabid otherworldly fans and cyborgs. Oli adds “Statues dives deeper into the world of post human. The video continues the exploration of what it means to be human in an age where technology can alter our very nature and gives keen eyed fans more lore to dive into and discuss on their quest for uncovering the full post human lore.”
The album is the latest chapter in the series to be revealed and sees the band expanding both musically and conceptually. Following on from 2020’s POST HUMAN: Survival Horror – which featured collaborations with YUNGBLUD, Nova Twins, BABYMETAL and Evanescence’s Amy Lee, and includes the huge hit singles 'Teardrops' and 'Obey'. Sonically the album hits heavy, whilst frontman Oli’s vocals are his most melodic to date. Bring Me The Horizon entered 2024 with an explosive start having played to over 140,000 fans in the UK & Ireland on their biggest UK arena tour to date, winning the BRIT Award for Best Alternative/Rock Act, announcing their first stadium show in São Paulo, Brazil and now breaking new ground with the release of NeX GEn. The band begin a run of headline festival appearances throughout Europe in June. KEEP UP WITH BRING ME THE HORIZON: Instagram / Facebook / Website / YouTube / Spotify Comments are closed.
