Swedish-American duo Green & Granstrom return with a breezy anthem that captures the fleeting magic of sunlit days and carefree nights. Their latest single, Only Summer, arrives as a shimmering tribute to the joy, freedom and wild spontaneity of the warmer months. Drawing on both modern pop rock sensibilities and a classic melodic edge, it feels instantly timeless.
Built on the foundation of Lars Brundin’s original Swedish song “Alltid sommar (där hon går)”, the track gets a fresh new life with English lyrics penned by Jimmy Granstrom and Robert Gould. There’s a warm, sun-soaked feeling that runs throughout – carried by Leyton Green’s effortlessly smooth vocals and a glowing arrangement that invites repeat listens. The result is a vibrant, feel-good track that hits that sweet spot between nostalgic and new.
The song has already made waves, gaining radio support across multiple countries and most recently airing on SiriusXM’s Nordic Rox, a show hosted by Roxette legend Per Gessle. It follows the duo’s earlier single Stranger With My Face, which boasted music by Emmy-nominated composer Omri Lahav. With “Only Summer,” Green & Granstrom deliver a catchy, emotionally rich track that feels like a soundtrack to sun-drenched memories. It’s a song made for open windows, late-night drives and moments you want to hold onto just a little longer.
