The rock ‘n’ roll club night, festival and new music champions This Feeling have partnered with the iconic British boot brand Hunter to host a stage at this summer’s Truck Festival. Running from July 25th-28th at Hill Farm, Oxfordshire, the This Feeling x Hunter stage presents an opportunity for the next generation of essential new artists to take their place on the bill alongside headliners IDLES, Jamie T, Wet Leg and The Streets. Hunter has become a must-wear festival look, as worn by the likes of Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Alexa Chung. In an article highlighting how “boots became a cool festival girl staple,” Vogue enthused, “Hunter still leads the pack.”
This Feeling founder Mikey Jonns says, “I’m really excited to be able to team up with Hunter to bring the country’s best breaking talent to Truck Festival. Over the years, This Feeling has been proud to give a host of big names their first opportunity to play at Truck: Red Rum Club, Dylan John Thomas, Only The Poets, Sophie and The Giants, Rianne Downey, The Clause and Overpass to name but a few. I truly believe that our line-up is bringing you tomorrow’s festival headliners today.”

Oliver Lewis, Head of Brand at Hunter adds, “Hunter are proud to be supporting the This Feeling stage for grassroot talent at Truck Festival 2024. Festival culture is at the core of the Hunter brand and we are excited to be celebrating this year by supporting up-and-coming talent. Over the decades, Hunter has been the go-to brand for festival icons. We are pleased to be supporting this year’s This Feeling line-up as they begin their journey as the next generation of festival icons.”

This Feeling and Hunter are proud to present the following headliners at Truck:

  • Hailing from Wigan, The Lilacs (Thursday headliners) blend exuberant, high-energy indie anthems with a gritty rock ‘n’ roll edge, as presented on their recent single ‘Hopeless Romantic’. With a growing catalogue of fan favourites such as ‘Vicarage Road’ and ‘Sally’, The Lilacs have previously impressed while playing shows with The Lathums, Lottery Winners, The Sherlocks and The View

  • Spangled (Friday headliners) are always evolving, their genre-blurring style taking them from their early cinematic epics to a playful concoction of Supergrass and Buzzcocks influences on the ‘UNDERPANTS’ / ‘CHARLIE HILL’ double A-side single. Their new EP ‘Always In Colour’ goes brighter still, with a sun-kissed summer-friendly sound perfect for getting spangled at a festival.

  • The Kairos (Saturday headliners) bring a very different vibe, stand-out tracks such as ‘Lazy Lethargic’ and ‘P.O.P’ guaranteeing a rush of fast and frenetic energy to Truck. Bringing together exemplary originals with the occasional surprise cover, the Liverpool quartet have already inspired excited comparisons to everyone from Arctic Monkeys to Rage Against The Machine.

  • Manchester’s Rosellas (Sundays headliners) went straight to #1 on the iTunes UK Rock Chart with last year’s ‘Somewhere Inbetween’ EP before raising the bar once more with recent singles such as ‘Is It Any Wonder?’. The five-piece blend influences both contemporary and classic, creating a sound that will appeal to fans of Inhaler, DMA’S, The Verve and The War on Drugs.

The line-up is completed by the artists listed below, completed by This Feeling DJs (Thursday and Sunday) and Radio X’s John Kennedy (Friday and Saturday):

Thursday: Dirty Blonde, Colour TV, The Sway, Dude Safari and Jazz Cat.
Friday: Pavé, The Juice, Harvey Jay Dodgson, Ruby J, Elephant Kind, About-Faces and Leah Wilcox.
Saturday: Lissy Taylor, Dictator, The Slates, Hannah Rowe, Bride, Connor Adams and Alice SK.
Sunday: Blush Puppy, Comforts, Stanleys, Barstaff, M60, shortstraw., Eighty Eight Miles and Papaya Noon.
