In the Park Festival is now just a few days away, and a very special support act has just been announced for Tom Grennan’s headline show on Friday May 3rd in the shape of Liverpool’s very own singer-songwriter sensation, Jamie Webster. Undoubtedly one of the UK’s most successful independent artists in recent years, his story has seen him go from playing small venues in Liverpool to playing massive outdoor festival shows in just a few short years. His third album ’10 For The People’ was released earlier this year to critical acclaim and is an exciting new addition to the line-up for this weekend’s inaugural show, which kick starts the festival season.
 
Jamie will be appearing alongside #1 platinum selling singer/songwriter Tom Grennan, with further support from Scottish rising star Brooke Combe, taking a stop in Newcastle ahead of an intensely busy summer which sees her performing across the UK.
 
In the Park Festival Newcastle is an exciting new addition to the North East’s festival landscape, with the iconic St James’ Park as its stunning backdrop, there are few better locations to perform in the heart of the city. With the age of the show set at 11 and over (under 18s accompanied by an adult) it makes for a great family day out and marks the start of the UK festival season.
