Monkey The Dog drift into the cosmic with “Polvo de Estrellas”

From the edge of Alicante’s sun-scorched streets comes something a little otherworldly. Monkey The Dog, the experimental duo formed by Francisco Patruyo and Diego Cis in 2021, return with “Polvo de Estrellas” a track that feels less like a song and more like a quiet, flickering thought sent out into the night.

There’s no hurry in this one. Instead of pushing for immediacy, the track leans into atmosphere. You can hear the patience in every element, subtle tones, wide spaces, and a steady rhythm that floats rather than drives. It’s the kind of music that gives you room to breathe and invites you to look inward.

Monkey The Dog have always taken an unconventional route, blending styles without feeling the need to label them. “Polvo de Estrellas” continues in that spirit. There’s something dreamlike in the way it unfolds, with emotion sitting just under the surface, never overstated, always felt.

This isn't a band chasing a sound. It’s a duo chasing a feeling. And in doing so, they’ve created something that lingers.
