Spoonfest Charity Music extravaganza raises much needed fundsfor Wooden Spoon Northumberland.

Despite the heavens opening with intermittent rain showers, Wooden Spoon
Northumberland held their annual music festival Spoonfest, raising much needed funds for
children’s rugby charity Wooden Spoon. Hosted by Alnwick Rugby Club, line-up highlights
included tribute bands Planet Abba and Ed Sheeran, Howay the Lads and talented local
actor and singer Lewis Denny, who took a break from his showbiz career to support his
home town of Alnwick. Lewis Denny is appearing in panto this Christmas at the Tyne
Theatre, Newcastle.
