PREVIEW
NEWCASTLE CITY HALL - FRIDAY 21ST OF MARCH
Iconic rockers The Darkness are set to return to Newcastle this month; the band are going to tread the boards once again at the historic O2 City Hall in the heart of the city, a venue they last played back in 2023 when they rocked the socks off of the Geordie crowd.
Making a triumphant return with a whole new album to delight the fans with, The Darkness have only gone and sold out the place; in fact, their tickets sold like 'Hot Cakes' with every show on the tour selling out. Thanks in no small part to epic tracks 'The Longest Kiss, 'I Hate Myself' (with that unforgettable video) as well as the latest singles 'Rock and Roll Party Cowboy' and 'Walking Through Fire' which left fans in no doubt that the forthcoming album 'Dreams On Toast' is set to be another album of rock goodness from Justin Hawkins, Dan Hawkins, Frankie Poullain and Rufus Taylor.
With support from Irish rock band Ash, whose back catalogue is littered with tracks that helped shape a generation of music fans. Their debut album, 1977, garnered the band several UK chart hits, with 'Angel Interceptor' breaking the top 10. The band's live show will be a real treat.
