RISE
Always
Liverpool-based rock four piece are back with a brand new single, "Always" and it is everything you could possibly want from a classic rock track. It really does hammer home the band's consistent and distinctive sound.
The track was released at the end of February and is a complex tapestry of the high energy rock that they are so good at and that with the melodic hook just adds an extra layer it. The band have collaborated with stayMellow (Sam Kinley) on this one, taking full advantage of his exceptional vocal range to help deliver a punch of emotion to the song. There is plenty to be happy about with this song as the impressive guitar work of Brian Petch adds an air of sophistication.

It was recorded at Whitewood Studios in Liverpool and co-produced by Rob Whiteley and Paul Kinley. They have a long history of working together and that is clear to hear in the final mix. Setting the technical elements to one side, the song is one of solidarity and that message is one that will resonate with a lot of people.
RUSE have also released a video to accompany the track, it is a real stripped back, intimate video of the band playing the song in the studio, capturing all that raw, honest emotion as you see them bouncing off each other's energy, this might be a love song of sorts but the video also kind of encapsulates the whole message of the track perfectly really. Great stuff.
"Always" is available now on all major platforms.
