Sandy Martin
Jing Jangle
Los Angeles based artist Sandy Martin has released a new original single titled Jing Jangle, out right now. The track was written alongside Tim Phoenix and Carlos Villalobos, continuing a collaboration that previously resulted in the 2024 Christmas release Christmas Time Cookies.
Jing Jangle is a seasonal track that has its core built around rhythm and movement rather than the sentimentality of the season. Sandy focusses on pace and feeling, keeping things straightforward which fits in well with the initial idea behind the song, to keep things simple, fun and easy to engage with. Sandy has definitely hit all of those goals with Jing Jangle.

Recorded in Los Angeles, the session prioritised performance over refinement. Much of the process involved extended time working through takes and ideas, something that allowed the track to develop naturally over time instead of being being tightly structured from the outset. That approach gives the single a loose, relaxed quality.
Sandy Martin recently performed a Christmas show in Pittsburgh and continues to release music aimed at keeping things accessible and positive. Jing Jangle adds another entry to this year’s run of festive releases, offering an alternative that focuses more on rhythm and energy than tradition.
The single is available now across major digital platforms.
