'(Not) Sentimental'
San Francisco is the solo project of welsh singer-songwriter Iwan Grant.
Hailing from North Wales, but now residing in Leeds to study Popular Music at the Conservatoire, Iwan is ready to take his alt-indie/rock sound to a whole new level. Following on from the successful release of ‘Just Friends’ back in late June of 2020, this new track ‘(not) sentimental’ is set to propel San Francisco as a solidified Northern artist to watch.
When talking about the single, Iwan explains: “the single is about reminiscing of spending the night with someone that you don’t see again but doing so fondly instead of wishing it was more.” He goes onto say that despite the overwhelming feeling of nostalgia present, it is in fact an upbeat indie song with thoughtful lyrics.
