Simonne Draper shared a little while ago now, the new version of her track Eclipse, this time reworked by UK producer Jon Kennedy. The remix takes the original composition and places it in a slower, downtempo setting, without changing its core structure.
The entire track is built around Draper's classical guitar work, something that you can hear throughout which is cool. Instead of opting to reshape the melody, Kennedy has leaned into it, adding rhythm and texture under it. There is a steady pulse that runs right trough the track and it is backed up with light electronic elements sitting behind the guitar rather than competing with it. The end result is a revitalised version with its one unique edge.
