Stevie Lee Woods
Don't Let Heartache Turn to Heartbreak

Picture
The latest single from Stevie Lee Woods has just been released, taken from Stevie's upcoming album. It is one of those timeless tracks that feel like it is an instant classic. It doesn't happen often but there is something about his voice that gives the track real depth. The subject matter is one that so many people will be able to identify with. Don't Let Heartache Turn To Heartbreak, isn't a love song, it is more of a motivational message to those going through tough times.

Storytelling is a major part of any great track and the ability of writer Brian Kelleher along with Stevie Lee Woods, to tell a compelling tale is definitely on show with Don't Let Heartache Turn To Heartbreak. Reflecting on a couple's rocky patch and eventual reconciliation, the track feels more like a beacon of hope rather than doom and gloom. The music certainly has an uplifting feeling to it, the Country style is what Stevie's vocal was made for as it fits the whole aesthetic of the track so well.

The song was recorded at Mansion Studios in Branson, Missouri, with Stevie Lee Wood's Nashville Roadhouse Live Band which features Devin Callahan from American Idol and Rich Watson, so you get an idea of the high calibre of the talent involved with this record. Production included the guiding hand of Stuart Epps and Chris Omartian, their rich background in production and engineering making for a formidable team and their input has most certainly paid off.

The song is one that you are sure to want to hit the repeat button on once you hear it, and if this is any indication of how good the forthcoming album is then I for one will be keeping my eyes and ears open for its release.
