Formed in the heart of the north east of England, indie rockers The Casbahs have spent the last five years finely tuning their craft. With a host of live shows, BBC introducing spots, and radio play, the hard-working five piece from County Durham have steadily built a loyal following of dedicated music lovers. That following will not be disappointed with The Casbah's latest release. 
 
Roman Numerals, the band's new single, has a feeling of 90s cool about it, with a melody that doesn't just have an instant impact but hangs around in the ear. A memorable tune for all of the right reasons

The cleverly written lyrics tell a familiar story, one that most people can relate to in some shape or form. Loss, or fear of letting someone go, is a tough subject to tackle, but The Casbah's have done it and made it as catchy as you like in the process. It is a song that wouldn't feel out of place in any respectable music collection. The video is a cracker as well, so be sure to check it out.

The Casbahs; Niall Fenwick (lead vocals), Jack Walker (bass/vocals), Joe Teasdale (lead guitar), Steven Grainger (guitar), and Harry Harry Mason (drums), have had a strong start to their musical career, and if they keep writing bangers like Roman Numerals, then the world really is their oyster, adding another thread to the north east's rich musical tapestry.
