VERTICOLI RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE “SEE YOU AROUND” AND ANNOUNCE UPCOMING ALBUM
Tasmanian alt rock three-piece Verticoli are back with a brand new track, “See You Around,” the first glimpse of their upcoming album Silverlinings, which is set for release on November 6.
The single, which had its first play via The AU Review, carries the weight of reflection. Written with past relationships in mind, it leans into those moments where two people care for one another but simply find themselves at different points in life. The song, imagined against the backdrop of the Marion Bay Falls Festival, draws from the band’s admiration of Tom Petty while weaving in the moodiness of Kurt Vile’s B’lieve I’m Goin Down.

Verticoli are no strangers to the Australian live circuit. Over the years they’ve opened stages at Falls Festival in Marion Bay, shared line-ups with the likes of Cog, Kingswood, British India and DZ Deathrays, and were handpicked by Triple J Unearthed to perform at Party in the Paddock. Their last release, So Far, stripped back their catalogue into an acoustic collection that reached radio audiences across more than a hundred stations worldwide.
Now, “See You Around” finds the band returning to their electric roots, setting the tone for what promises to be a compelling new record.
The single is streaming now on all major platforms.
