ELEANOR COLLIDES
'DEL RAY SUNSHINE'
‘Del Ray Sunshine’, is the brand new single from London based singer-songwriter Nick Ranga, AKA Eleanor Collides. Named after Nick’s imaginary childhood friend, Eleanor Collides started as a lockdown project and has blossomed into something quite special.
Following on from previous releases ‘Candle Glow’ and ‘Lifeboats’, the UK indie rocker has created a very different sounding record from the songs' predecessors, with Nick’s rather laid back vocals layered over a hard hitting drum beat and satisfying bass line that holds the track together, while the guitar and acoustic guitar are an absolute delight. The track evokes thoughts of lying back in a field somewhere in the hazy summer sun and just enjoying the moment.

‘Del Ray Sunshine’ is more upbeat than Eleanor Collides’ previous tracks and definitely has the feel good factor. One to add to your playlists for sure. An intriguing project from a very talented performer, Eleanor Collides is one to watch.
Nick is not afraid to experiment with different styles and sounds and proves that the UK music scene is just as vibrant and creative as it ever has been.
