The vast majority of what you hear is the vocal and basic musical arrangement without the addition of lots of layers added on top which gives it real sense of authenticity.

There isn't lots of dynamic shifts but the instrumental elements add lots of nuanced elements that keep the track flowing. Most of the work is done by soft pads and Crow’s voice.
