In support of that release, the hard rock legends have been touring the UK, and we were lucky enough to catch their show as they rolled into Newcastle. I don't mean I was surprised people wanted to see him; I knew it was a sold-out show, but physically seeing a queue that spanned three streets, pretty much, as the line of people coiled around the venue waiting to get their spot as near as possible to the stage. Some fans had been there for 10 hours!!! It really was a sight to behold. The fanbase is a loyal one, and James rewarded that loyalty with an impromptu performance on the front steps of NX, which was a nice touch.

The crowd, both young and old, were eager to witness the band's performance.
