After seeing them twice in the past, I wasn’t sure what to expect this time around,it was my first without Tom leading the charge. But any hesitation faded the moment the lights dropped. The show was one of two intimate warm up gigs for the Kasabian so as you can imagine, the place was packed. What followed was a masterclass in energy, swagger and showmanship, delivered by a band that has found a new kind of fire.

To celebrate the new record ahead of its August release, Bryan has taken to the road on the 'Roll With The Punches' tour, which kicked off in Newcastle upon Tyne at the Utilita Arena. Bryan didn't bring a support act with him, but what he did bring was a back catalogue of hits so huge that it was going to take a while to get through them all. Worry not though, as Bryan Adams took to the stage at 8pm and was ready to rock the socks off of the Geordie fandom.
