Remi Wolf continues to peel back the curtain on what is shaping out to be her most artistically ambitious and refined projects yet with her singles 'Cinderella' and 'Motorcycle' off her highly anticipated sophomore album Big Ideas out July 12th on EMI Records. Big Ideas propels Remi to new heights as her honed sense of self and musicianship is on full display, presenting her big ideas as a magnum opus of guitar-smashing, hair-raising, soul-bearing, lung-filling, life-altering bangers.
Following the release of her 2021 critically acclaimed debut album Juno, Remi’s ascent into stardom has been undeniable. She has performed all over the world; whether it be at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, SXSW, Newport Folk Festival and Bonnaroo, selling out tours across North America and Europe, or opening for artists like Lorde, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Paramore. STONE are firing on all fronts, their rise heralded with strong support at Radio 1, acclaim right across the board from Rolling Stone to NME, and all 500 copies of the Blood Records zoetrope vinyl edition of their upcoming debut album Fear Life For A Lifetime selling out instantly. It’s easy to see their appeal.
They’re a band who specialise in instantly addictive indie-rock anthems that speak to the experiences of their generation, and always strive to make a powerful connection with their growing fanbase. Frontman Fin Power is their not-so-secret weapon: a man with endless charisma and an electrifying stage presence. STONE recorded Fear Life For A Lifetime during sessions in Vermont with producer Rich Costey (Sam Fender, HAIM, Biffy Clyro). The album’s arresting cover image depicts Fin facing his deepest fear by jumping into the ocean from a 50-foot cliff: an apt metaphor for both the band’s conviction and the record’s theme of fighting your fears head-on. Transformation became the watchword for Liana Flores’ debut album, Flower of the soul, whether it be the changing of the seasons or the evolving nature of love. It’s a theme that can be heard throughout much of the London-based British-Brazilian songwriter's music, which pairs dream-like vignettes of her intimate world with wistful, drifting guitar melodies to get lost in.
Written over the course of the past three years, Flower of the soul is a meditation on impermanence, told through an intoxicating blend of stylistic influences, from British folk (‘Crystalline’), classic jazz (‘I wish for the rain’), and ‘60s Brazilian pop (‘Butterflies’). Flower of the soul is 11 tracks of escapist bliss which bask in the multifaceted beauty of the world. Listeners are gestured straight into the sunshine on ‘Orange-coloured day’, an ode to the impermanence of nature’s beauty, uplifted by a springy piano melody and playful guitar licks. Entering a fearlessly bold era, diamond-certified GRAMMY® Award-winning Imagine Dragons have unveiled their anxiously awaited sixth full-length album, LOOM. LOOM represents the pinnacle of their artistic journey of self-discovery and marks the best body of work they've ever made. The album is produced entirely by Imagine Dragons and their longtime collaborators Mattman and Robin, finding the perfect balance between the classic sounds that have made them superstars and the freshness that brought them joy in the studio.
Featuring 9 brand new tracks including the hit single “Eyes Closed”, LOOM signifies new beginnings on the horizon – the excitement for a new day, moments yet to come. Tallying cumulative sales of 74 million album equivalents, 65 million digital songs, and over 160 billion streams, Imagine Dragons continue to redefine rock in the 21st century. Returning with a big bang, The Warning proudly present their anxiously awaited new full-length album, Keep Me Fed. The Mexico-born sister trio - Daniela “Dany” (guitar, lead vocals, piano), Paulina “Pau” (drums, vocals, piano), and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal (bass, piano, backing vocals) - have logged thousands of miles on the road, generated hundreds of millions of streams, and left countless fans in awe.
In talking about the story behind the decision to name the album Keep Me Fed, “throughout the whole process, the work was consuming us,” says Pau. “By impacting everything we did, the album kept us fed both creatively and personally. We’re inviting other people to participate and consume it too." Bulldozing the way for the record’s arrival, they have unveiled several singles, including “Hell You Call A Dream” and the Spanish-language “Qué Más Quieres.” Formed in Liverpool, The Mysterines – frontwoman Lia Metcalfe, drummer Paul Crilly, bassist George Favager and guitarist Callum Thompson – have undergone a radical transformation over the past few years. Fresh with new purpose and reinvigorated from songwriting sessions while secluded away in the countryside (in between playing to 60,000-strong crowds while on tour with the Arctic Monkeys), the band have now just released the best music of their career with their new album Afraid of Tomorrows, the highly-anticipated follow up to their critically-acclaimed Top 10 debut album Reeling.
