Irish singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist Cian Ducrot is an artist who has reached millions of people over the last couple of years with his viral TikTok and YouTube music videos. He has natural musical and songwriting ability in abundance, as well as a keen eye for spotting a video opportunity. Flash mobs in train stations, streets, and shopping malls, singing with a huge choir that seems to appear from nowhere—Cian has given people and the internet many memorable moments.
The success that Cian is experiencing has, however, been hard won. He has gone through many lows in his life, from an absent father to tragic losses and so much more in such a short amount of time. It is a wonder that he has managed to keep his focus, but Cian has taken those aspects of his life and laid them bare for the world to hear in his songwriting.
"Victory", Cian's debut album, is an absolute triumph. Having sold out shows across the globe as well as opening up for none other than Ed Sheeran, Cian is touring the UK this autumn so be sure to check him out.
