Critically acclaimed singer songwriter Holly Humberstone played to a sold out crowd in Newcastle University Students Union with Reflex Records as part of her Out-store shows previewing Holly's soon to be released debut album 'Paint My Bedroom Black' which is out on 13th of October via Polydor / Darkroom / Geffen.

Making her way to a stripped back stage to cheers from the packed out room, Holly kicked off the intimate show with the album's title track 'Paint My Bedroom Black'. Taking a few moments to thank the crowd for coming, Holly reminisced on her last visit to Newcastle where she played at St. James' Park, opening up for Sam Fender. Holly said that she associates Newcastle with the best things and then proceeded to play 'Into Your Room' to the delight of the crowd.
As well as playing the new album for the lucky fans who were there, the set also included fan favourite 'The Walls Are Way Too Thin', a song that endeared Holly to so many new fans upon it's as the title track to Holly's 2021 EP of the same name.

The album sounded amazing played live and the fans certainly seemed to love it, one of the highlights of the evening was during recently released double a side single, 'Antichrist', where the audience held up paper hearts and sang along. A touching moment that I am sure will live on in the memories of everyone in the room.
