'SOUND OF A JUNKIE'

When it comes to anthemic punk rock, your mind might head straight to Oakland CA and a certain icon trio. But hold your horses, there is a new kid on the block and one that will scratch that punk rock itch. Hailing from England's North West, a region renowned for it's musical heritage, comes Jet City. A punk rock outfit that has more than enough attitude and talent to give even the established bands a run for their money.
Jet City's debut single 'A Green Day Saviour' is a great introduction to the mind of Jet City's frontman JG who is a certified Green Day fan, even listing them as an influence on their Insta bio. The band have recently dropped the single and have wasted no time in readying their second single 'Sound Of A Junkie' which either by design or coincidence gave us a tune that is in itself something that could easily become an obsession with a hook that is both distinctive and catchy.
This is a band that know what they are about and are not afraid of putting their all in to creating their music and it has really paid off. Both their debut single and the follow up are a great example of what raw talent and boundless energy, determination and drive can produce.
