interview with T.Boy from Les Lullies
Montpellier, France is the spot, and LES LULLIES - chief local importers / exporters of the crazy rock beat - ready their 2nd LP with a slew of sweaty live shows around town, the rest of the country, and several other swingin' European locales in an exhausting tour schedule that has the freaks in heat.

We caught up with bassist T. Boy He had this to say:
What or who are your main musical influences?
We're a four piece rock'n'roll band, we started in 2016, released two 4 songs EP, 2 single, one album, toured pretty much everywhere in Europe, and USA and Canada twice. We come from the south of France, our musical roots are punk, power pop, garage, rock'n'roll, we used to sing in english, now we sing in french. Our live shows are fast, tight, loud. And of course we love cheese.
About influences, on that band, The Saints and the Boys, french bands like Dogs, Fixed Up, also 90's garage punk like Teengenerate (but maybe less now?), and The Records and the Flamin' Groovies.
What is it about this sort of music that makes you want to write and perform it?
It's just what we like, what we want to do, and what we can do.
What has been your greatest achievement as a band so far?
Not to die on tour?
Do you have any aspirations musically or otherwise that might surprise people?
Yes but i'll keep that to myself for now.
You are currently touring, have you any venues or places that you would love to play?
We want to go to play to Japan so bad, and Australia too.
Your latest single Zéro Ambition is out right now and its a great track, are you planning on releasing another album or are you concentrating on live performances at the moment?
Thank you! It's taken from our new album Mauvaise Foi, to be released May 26th on Slovenly
Finally, do you have any advice for people hoping to start a career in music?
Music career? What the hell is that?
